This sculpture captures the feeling of being on a thorn, evoking tension and discomfort. Composed of three rose thorn stems—two with thorns and one carved—the work symbolizes love, beauty, and ugliness, with opposing elements moving in parallel.

 

Using wood to imitate nature, the piece explores complex emotions like tension, peace, insecurity, and danger. The "Needle in Your Middle" invites a sense of constant restlessness, highlighting the interdependence of opposing forces and the contradictions within human emotions.
